Context Nix & Kix is a fast-growing soft drinks brand with a twist—each beverage contains a hint of cayenne pepper instead of sugar. I was tasked with designing a more distinctive logotype to catch the eye of curiously minded shoppers who might be open to trying something different.
The solution brought curiosity to life by replacing the generic 'and' with a captivating ampersand that plays with the positive and negative space of the logotype. Crucially, the new logo maintained brand recognition and legibility, ensuring the existing customer base wasn't alienated.
