Context Staalkade 6. An independent co-working space in the heart of Amsterdam—and the place I just so happened to call home when I lived there. As part of a rebrand, Jeroen Krielaars, studio head honcho and motion designer extraordinaire, asked me to design a unique number 6 that could act as a visual shorthand for the identity.
The solution, as it turned out, lay just outside our front door. The geometric number 6 takes inspiration from a small set of steps that lead down into the studio… and double as a hangout spot for Friday beers.
